Sample schedule

A light program, updated with Sandy's feedback. Canyon Ranch fills the rest: 35+ daily classes, the spa, Lake Travis, and the trails. Times are a working draft.

Friday, Jan 29

Arrive and rest

  • 12:00 to 1:30: Lunch with introductions
  • 1:30 to 5:00: Free afternoon for the spa, walks, or rest
  • 6:00 to 7:30: Dinner, loose and conversational, no seating chart
  • 7:30 to 8:30: Breath and intention session in the yoga room
  • No formal Canyon Ranch intro session
Saturday, Jan 30

Breathe and connect

  • 7:00: Optional walk for early birds
  • 8:00 to 8:30: Group coffee and breakfast
  • Morning: 90-minute outdoor walk or hike, rotating partners every 10 minutes
  • Midday: free time on the Canyon Ranch schedule
  • 3:30 to 5:00: Breath and mindset session (burnout, always being "on," handling negative comments)
  • 5:30 to 7:00: Dinner
  • Evening: spa open
Sunday, Jan 31

Reset and return

  • Morning wrap-up only
  • Then free time and departures
  • No group lunch; people are talked out by Sunday

No outside experts for this first retreat; programming is Sandy's and Sharon's. Sharon is building the stewardship arc around the weekend: a pre-retreat survey, the welcome, and cohort threads afterward. Sponsor moments (a hosted meal, session, or welcome toast) slot into Friday lunch or dinner, the Saturday hike, or Saturday dinner. Creators aren't paid; downtime is the draw, and each creator posts about the sponsor during and after the weekend.
